State College has gone through a rollercoaster of weather this past week, finally dwindling down to the cooler 50’s. After beating Ohio State yesterday (WE ARE!) I headed to the Arboretum to recharge and get ready for the week ahead of me. The lovely individuals who decorate the Arboretum always leave me surprised with their talent and superb pumpkin collection :p
Although not my typical Autumn look, I was feeling very glam goth/hip today. I kept my top half very dimensional by adding different textures and layers. BONUS! Lord and Taylor recently had their extra-savings sale where I scored amazing pieces for great discounts. My silver sequin tank top and navy vest are both from Design Lab – a new favorite brand of mine. My black leather jacket is from Guess (last seasons). I find leather jackets to be a staple in my wardrobe, and something I spend time and (reasonable) money in investing. I particularly enjoy this one due to the structured look and patchwork/zipper detailing.
My black ripped jeans are from Zara (also last years), but you can find very similar jeans on their site this season, as well as other online shops like Topshop, American Apparel, and Missguided.
I am OBSESSED with hoop earrings right now and got this lovely pair from Nordstrom! So happy they have come back into my life.
Fall allows for creativity and personality to shine through unique styles and outfits. I think that’s why people in the fashion industry love the season so much. Extra perks: Apple cider, pumpkin picking, snuggle weather, etc.
What’s your favorite thing about Fall?
Until next time,
